amber, start by getting your web design spank buddies to boost your presence on google – searching for your name brings up literature and the like and searching for spanking, well… what can i say!
we need another way…

it’s all too much to write in this little comment box, but you can start by verifying your site in google webmaster tools http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/. that’ll show you how your site is doing when people search for it, and what people are searching for to get to your page, blah, blah.
